A popular brand of cider, Strongbow, has announced a new advertising campaign that will combine both traditional advertising methods with Facebook marketing, according to an article published by New Media Age.
In the new campaign, titled ‘The Last Word’, Strongbow will take dialogue produced and provided by 30 fans of their Facebook page and use them in a new TV advert.
Each advert will see a different piece of the dialogue, provided by the fans, every day during airings on YouTube, Facebook and TV.
The advert will get its first airing on November 1 and will run for the duration of November.
Brand manager at Strongbow, Lucy Henderson, stated: “With over 140,000 Facebook fans, we were overwhelmed by the amount of great one liners we received.”
Continuing, she added: “By using their lines as part of the campaign, we have managed to produce a truly new and integrated campaign for Strongbow, which lands the Hard Graft message and really connects with the audience.”
