Red Letter Days turn focus towards social media marketing

Owned by the stars of the popular TV show, Dragons’ Den, Red Letter Days has announced that it will switch focus with its Christmas advertising campaigns towards social media marketing, according to an article published by Marketing Week.

Business entrepreneurs Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis own the company, which provides unique gift experience days.

Reds Letter Days’ new social media strategy will operate with two main objectives; one will be to continue to engage with their current fans and followers of the company’s social media presences – in a bid to increase the relationship it has with consumers.

The other part of the strategy will see Red Letter Days attempt to discover the main influencers within their relevant sector to gain new customers.

Purchased back in 2005 whilst in administration, the company’s fortunes have undergone a hugely positive transformation under the ownership of Jones and Paphitis – posting a full-year profit of £372,000 for last year (2010).
