Law firm ‘Loyalty Law’ has launched the UK’s first Twitter law firm, according to The Weston Mercury.
The firm ‘@thelegaloracle’ has been launched as a Twitter marketing campaign to make legal advice more accessible to people.
Nicholas Jervis, responsible for launching the law firm, was a solicitor for 14 years before launching Loyalty Law.
‘@thelegaloracle’ has been designed to educate people on how to claim money they are entitled to.
Jervis says: “It occurred to me that if you could make the legal profession more accessible through Twitter, then this could make a huge difference and open the legal world up to a new generation.”
The Twitter feed is said to be operated by solicitors working at Loyalty Law, the advice will be free and will be constricted to 140 characters.
Although the service is not designed to solve whole cases, it will give people free advice that will save them money in consultations.
