Facebook shows the impact of viral videos

Just a few days after the emergence of a Facebook tattoo video, which depicted a man getting a tattoo of Facebook images,  it has turned out that the video was an elaborate fake.

This video was used as a viral marketing tool, and with 1.6 million views, it has clearly been a success.

Pretty Social are the company behind the marketing scheme, they provide  gifts and trinkets printed with… wait for it… your Facebook friends’ faces.  Now they have utilised Facebook for some very successful marketing, they are seeing record sales.

The the video has received hundreds and hundreds of mentions on mainstream news sites, blogs, and everything in between, proving a very successful viral video indeed.
