With many stories circulating the media about Facebook and Facebook marketing, it comes as no surprise that the companies Like button is fast becoming an ecommerce force to be reckoned with.

Since Facebook launched its Like button last year to millions of websites worldwide, more than 10,000 sites a day connect with Facebook according to the Montreal Gazette.

Facebook now has partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the world such as Levi who has a Like button next to each item of clothing on their site, as well as Ticketmaster whose website includes a downloadable app that lets you know if any of your Facebook friends have already purchased tickets for a gig that you are interested in.

“Your mode of discovery online is starting to look more like your mode of discovery offline,” said Dan Rose, a former Amazon.com executive, vice president of partnerships and platform marketing at Facebook.
